Cancellation Policy
Understandably situations may arise where students are unable to attend a tutoring session. If such a situation arises, you should let me know as soon as possible so that I can slot another student into the class and also look to offer your child an alternative session if there is one available. I also have a waiting list of students who are keen to start regular sessions with me or even slot in to the occasional session as and when they become available.
As such, in the event of cancellation the following applies:
Regular Tutoring
· At least 48 hours’ notice is required if you will be unable to attend a tutoring session as this gives me the opportunity to reschedule and slot in other students where possible.
· If no notice is received or where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the session will still be charged at the full rate.
· Repeated non-attendance and frequent cancellations (even where the required notice has been given) may lead to the discontinuation of my tutoring services.
· In the event of illness or if circumstances have arisen which have not been foreseen, you must still let me know at the earliest opportunity possible. I am extremely understanding in these circumstances.
· Refunds will be offered in the event that a student is unable to continue with me for any reason.
Holiday Camps
· Deposits paid for holiday camps will only be refunded if I am able to find a replacement student.
· Missed sessions will not usually be refunded.
· In the event of illness or if circumstances have arisen which have not been foreseen, you must let me know at the earliest opportunity possible. I am extremely understanding in these circumstances.
Comprehension and Creative writing courses
· As these are termly courses and we do not have the ability to slot other students in, I am unfortunately unable to offer refunds for missed sessions.
· In addition, refunds for the full term fees will only be given if notice is received 2 weeks in advance of the first session. Otherwise a deduction of £200 will be made.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
